MANNA recently honored Korman Communities founder Steven H. Korman, who is a longtime supporter of the organization, with the 5th Annual Steven H. Korman Day of Caring.

Move For Hunger

Partnering with one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs

AVE and Move For Hunger formalized a partnership in September 2015, seamlessly integrating a program into AVE's daily operations to collect food for local food banks that would otherwise be thrown out when AVE guests or residents move.

Clean the World

Providing supplies to those in need and reducing waste

Korman's AKA brand has partnered with Clean the World to recycle and reuse soap and bottled amenities to people in need as a part of AKA Cares.

Korman Center at Drexel

Powering education and innovation at Drexel University

The Korman Center at Drexel houses over 8,000 square feet of labs, study space, community lounges, and powers innovation at Drexel. The quad in front of the building is at the center of campus.

Words will never adequately express how incredible the Korman family has been to MANNA. What started out as a monetary gift made over 20 years ago has led to ongoing generous support, a friendship with not only the family, but also many employees of Korman Communities. This is a true partnership with a shared vision to continue to fight for access to food as medicine for all that need it. I've never met a family more committed to giving back and helping those less fortunate. But, beyond that, over the years Steve has made all of us at MANNA feel like honorary members of the Korman family.
