Throughout the ordeal of the Covid pandemic, the AKA Team under the leadership of Larry Korman, AKA President, took inspiration from the words of the distinguished Philadelphia architect Louis Kahn, “Joy will prevail.”
Having prevailed over the challenges of a stressful year, the AKA Leadership Team were together again in person for a festive afternoon at Karamoor Estate’s vineyard in Fort Washington, PA. Gathered together in the tasting room at Karamoor, Larry Korman and Brad Korman, co-CEOs of Korman Communities, along with AKA’s leaders toasted the start of a new venture for AKA with new hotel properties being added to the portfolio in New York City, London, and Alexandria, Virginia, and more coming. After more than a year of interacting virtually, the AKA Team enjoyed face-to-face conversations, wine tasting, lunch on the balcony overlooking the vista of vines in rows, and a tour of the facility and vineyards.
